'Second Chance' Teenage Mother Re-integration Forum

Location: Arua City, West Nile Region Impact Achieved: We supported 75 young mothers by connecting them with vocational training centers and providing grants to cover enrollment fees. The forum included sessions on maternal health and the importance of continued education. Key Outcome: 60% of participating young mothers have successfully enrolled in skills-based training (tailoring, hairdressing, or baking), setting them on a path toward economic independence.

Community Parent-Child Communication Clinic

Location: Agwata Sub-County, Dokolo Impact Achieved: This clinic engaged 120 parents and their teenage children simultaneously. It focused on breaking down the barriers to discussing reproductive health and promoting positive, open communication within the family unit. Male guardians were specifically targeted for involvement. Key Outcome: Families reported feeling better equipped to discuss sensitive issues, leading to a stronger support network against external pressures contributing to teenage pregnancy. 4.
