Our History
Tamali Foundation was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate individuals who recognized the need for menstrual health support in Northern Uganda. Our founders, who had witnessed firsthand the impact of menstrual poverty on girls’ education and well-being, were determined to create a organization that would provide access to menstrual health resources and support. After tireless efforts to build our programs and partnerships, we were officially registered by the Government of Uganda in 2025. This milestone marks a new chapter in our journey to empower communities and transform lives.
